Wu-nderful Feathers

This gorgeous shot is courtesy of www.modelinia.com. If this picture is not allowed on my site, I will promptly take it off... just let me know!
This photograph also features Teen Vogue (SINGULAR!!!) cover girl Karlie Kloss on the Jason Wu SS10 (Spring/Summer 2010) runway. I love the colour of the fun, feathered frock. Don't you think the green ribbon complements the look (dramatic hair, strappy heels) so well?! I do!

I Belong To Toronto, Ontario

Hi readers!
I am currently in Toronto, Ontario... having the time of my life. I live about a 2.5 hour drive from Toronto, and I am thrilled whenever I get the opportunity to visit this vibrant city. I love that there are so many different kinds of people and cultures in Toronto.
These pigeons kept on flying right over our heads. It was so freaky! I am so scared of pigeons. Haha. When I told my sister I was taking a picture of the birds for my blog, so told me that we have pigeons in London, but I was like whatever... ha. Torontonian pigeons are the worst!
I was feeling very much French cafe kind of girl, so my beautiful sister and I stopped by Pusateri's (an upscale indoor marketplace) and had a little apres shopping nosh. Above is a chocolate cupcake with raspberry buttercream frosting = dream combination. I pretty much DIED it was so good! The blue cookie kind of thing is a French macaroon. SO GOOD. I had never tried French macaroons before this, and I can totally see when fashion people love them!
I loved these tulips. They were so pretty, I just had to snap a photo!
Mmm, Jackie's salad looks delicious!
My hamburger at The Dizzy.
Me again! Here I am sipping my Shirley Temple drink. You never know when I am going to make an appearance on this blog! :)
Yummy Shirley Temple drink at The Dizzy.
These are some flowers I thought were really pretty. We past them on our walk to The Dizzy (restaurant).
I think lilies are my favourite type of flower. So beautiful!
YUMMERS. With all of these food pictures you guys are going to think all I DO is eat. HAHAHA! This is one of the most delectable sandwiches I have had in a long time. It was a triple decker double cheese grilled cheese sandwhich with pears; from the littlefish eatery, and it was HEAVENLY.
This lace is from my sister's (who I have been staying with) tablecloth. I will see if I can get more pictures of my sister's humble abode on The Look Book. She and her roommates have such cool style!
I know this was not the traditional outfit post, but I hope you guys enjoyed it nonetheless.
Happy Sunday!
Oh, and if you are a store or anywhere I took these photographs, and you do not want them on The Look Book, please do not hesitate to let me know. There is no copyright intended! Thank you!

A Really Beautiful Girl

Dear lovely readers,
This photographic story starts with two girls (J+M) who had a couple of delicious Starbucks drinks, and gosh did J not see the potential for a blog post. This is beauty, my dears. All of these fashionable items are M's, I must say (remember my meaningful content post? I must love these items, becaue I posted them on my blog :). M is a gorgeous girl!
This coach purse is a beauty. The black is so chic, and I just love the gorgeous pleating/gathered loveliness. In my opinion, this takes this otherword simple bag up to the next fashion level. So pretty!
A trinket, from Tiffany's no less! I love this one... the silver and key shape is so pretty/stylish.
This is how we do "modern pearls" right my dear. Tres chic!
M's windswept beauty.

This is M's look in total. Her ruched black shirt complements this classic "cool kid" look.Thank you so much to M for so willingly posing for the budding fashionista within me! Love!

AND THE WINNER IS... !!!!

This lovely girl won my fashion/self photography contest. Thank you so much to all who entered... hopefully my blog becomes "bigger" so I am able to partner with stores to distribute gift cards to the contest winners!
I absolutely ADORE this picture. The hat KILLS me... I love it so much! This girl's hair is so insanely beautiful. Someone please teach me how to style my hair like this? The makeup is so pretty. AND THAT LOOK: her lips and teeth are so beautiful. The outfit is traditional, thus excuding pure elegance. I love the crisp white shirt.
Beautiful, isn't it?!

Tasty Treats

You guys are probably thinking WHAT THE HECK? I know... but I believe that fashion does not just exist in clothing. Fashion/style can be represented in all areas of your life. Hence, the picture. Don' these stylish, pretty little tarts look to die for? AND I MADE THEM!!! That is right! I made the pastry tart shells and lemon cream filling ALL by hand. I think they are so pretty and delicious! Do you?

Sweet Green Flowers

Photo via http://www.style.com/. If it is not allowed on The Look Book, off it goes!
How darling is this sweet little Marchesa number? I just adore the rosettes, the pale green colour, and the shape of the dress. The blackish/pink peep toe pumps complete this dress so perfectly. I would love to own this dress!

Please keep on sending your entries for my photography contest!

Stay tuned!

Correction

Hello dears!
RIGHT now I am watching Marchesa on Fashion File (in Citytv) on Youtube, and I need to make a correction. I have written so much about the lovely ladies behind Marchesa (Karen Craig and Georgina Chapman). Karen's name is actually spelled Keren (not KAren) which I initially suspected, but after researching, found out that the name is spelled KEren.
Thank you, and please stay tuned!

Hair/Makeup

Continuing with my Natalie Portman fixation, I HAD to share this with you guys! I absolutely love, Natalie's makeup, hair, and (OBVIOUSLY!) hair accessory! Natalie's kohl rimmed eyes are so perfect, and that is the best hair do I could think of! Natalie chose to top this look off with a sparkly Jennifer Behr (LOVE) hair band which completes this look so beautiful.
Do you like this look?

Undecided

Ladies and gents, I have a fashion issue.
I cannot tell you the number of times I have stumbled upon this photograph of Natalie Portman wearing this exact Lanvin dress. The thing is.. whenever I see this dress I am not sure if I like it. I can never decide if I think it is stylish and elegant, or just plan drab.
What are your thoughts?
